Industrial Copper Bushing:
- A copper bushing is a mechanical component, typically made of copper or copper alloys, installed on the shafts of machinery and equipment as a supporting part. It reduces direct metal-to-metal contact between machine components, reducing friction and wear, thereby extending the service life of mechanical parts.
- Copper bushings are usually designed in a circular or cylindrical shape, with an inner diameter that matches the shaft and an outer diameter that varies according to installation requirements. Copper bushings can absorb some lubricating oil, further reducing friction and wear.
- The advantages of copper bushings include reducing friction and wear, excellent thermal conductivity, good electrical conductivity, ease of manufacturing, good corrosion resistance, and fatigue resistance.
- The disadvantages include lower hardness, the need for lubrication to achieve the best anti-friction effect, softness and susceptibility to deformation, limited resistance to high temperatures, and potential chemical reactions in certain environments.
